The Grown Up Song!!!!!!!

The Grown Up Song!!!!!!!

A Poem by JelliFyshKissUs
"

Just trying to loosen up.

"
Come on, kids!
Right this way!
Into a world
Of ever-play!
Can’t wait to grow?
We can’t wait, too!
So grab your home
And your mortgage due!
Don’t have the cash
No need to fret
Be a G.I. Joe
On a playing set!
With Uncle Sam
Play never stops
Pop bubble guns!
Lick lemon glocks!
Make Barbie doll
Your trophy wife
And come to live
A seesaw life
Go up and down
In your dream house
Catch cootie bug
From cheating spouse
Then watch her leave
With half your toys
And you will wish
To be a boy
Who lives with Mom
In his old room
Whose nightlight kept
Away the gloom
Who thought that he
Would not know fun
Until his years
Were twenty-one

I don't know anyone who hasn't said, "I can't wait until I'm grown and out of here."
And neither do I know anyone who hasn't said, "I should have enjoyed childhood while it lasted."

About
I don't know why my brain cramps up whenever I'm asked to tell others about me. Maybe I'm not that interesting. Maybe I'm being modest. Who knows? I'm a married mother of none who is devoted to .. more..
