Borrowed Anger

Borrowed Anger

A Poem by Rose Tyler
"

A "How I Feel" Poem.. you know who you are.

"

I can feel the ice

It's closing in around my heart

Dear, Take my advice

I tried and failed to perform my part.

I couldn't keep going, I could feel myself failing.

My lies are only a disguise to keep me from becoming close.

It felt as if I was no use, unavailing

But now it seems from my own ashes I arose.

"Its time to move on, but you keep holding on

Your mind says lets go, while your heart says please baby no

Its all just a test to see if you can make it through the rest

Once you've gotten this all of your chest, you'll no longer feel stressed, you'll be blessed"

Using your own writing against you may seem cruel

But you've found the perfect words, that I couldn't seem to conjure.

Our fight may end in a death duel

We both still have our honor, but you see me as a monster.
