They said you were odd,

And all I did is nod,

Now please enjoy my ballade.

 

You're something new,

Sweet and kind,

Meeting you is something I would not undo,

Talking to you helps me unwind;

This is something I must construe,

I hope this friendship does not leave me to be disinclined.

 

My best friends are books, and my love is a rose,

Please treat my heart as if made of glass.
