Parkour

Parkour

A Poem by Rose Tyler
"

A poem for my favorite thing ever to do.

"

Silently gliding through the air;

Feeling the adrenaline rushing through my veins;

The concrete beneath my feet;

This is what I was born to be.

Palm spin under the bar,

Back flip down the scaffolding,

Corkscrew off the swingtop;

This is what I was born to do.

Muscles strong and trained,

Clear and thoughtless mind,

Pure ecstacy and love,

This is what I was born to experience.

Cat jump across the gap,

Butterfly twist skinning the grass,

Vaulting over the rail;

This is what I was built for.
