Agitation

Agitation

A Poem by Rose Tyler

It eats away at  me
Nagging guilt
But over what?
The end threatening
To swallow me whole
And break my delicate balance
Between sanity
And psychopathy.

The apathy sinks in
Thinking of this
And that
Searching for what's
Eating my mind.

My ideas come to
A halt
Anger ripping my mind
Taking hold of my heart
And promising my destruction.

Fear flits through my mind
Never knowing what to do
I wonder what will come
Of this mess
Everyone calls me
And yet I still wonder
What
Is eating away at my mind.
