Monster.A Poem by Rose Tyler
Her heart belongs to one too many,
She can't seem to find The one she wishes to be with. Her love scattered out, To not one. But two people. The pain it causes her, The hatred she feels for herself; Nothing like this has happened before To her. She feels like a monster, Like she's being eaten alive, Like she's going to disintegrate Before their very eyes. Some say she's beautiful, Trustworthy and honest. While those who truly know her Know what she's going through. Night and day she thinks - "Man, I wish I could escape". She wants to know how to fix this mess She calls her life. The passion she feels To be beside them; she knows it's wrong, And she knows she's going To hurt herself and those around her. Now, You may think she's a drama queen, But really. She's just a girl who wishes To have a normal life, The life she had; The life before she met them.
