Destruction.

Destruction.

A Poem by Rose Tyler

The wars they go on,

Every day leaves more greif;

Lovers never to see each other again.

Inside my mind the strife continues,
Never peace only chaos;
I am my own casualtie.

Over and over the gangs fight,

Shots ring and silence ensues;

Unstaring eyes look the the moon.

Weapons and words,

Both have explosive effects;

Wounds follow each one the same.

The soldiers, they wait for the next day,

Hoping for it to end;

Wishing to see their wives and girlfriends once more.

These wars, they continue on.

Everyone wishes for them to stop.

Yet no one can find the way,

To have world peace.

No one knows how to speak up,

And voice their concerns.

These wars,

They rage on.

They never cease,

And cause pain.

As well as,

Destruction.

A very wonderful poem here for those who have lost their lives in the war. I have two cousin in Iraq right now.

A very truthful poem. Very good, you've done a good job with this one. However people know how to speak up, they just wish not to, fearing they will be judged.
