Night LifeA Poem by Rose Tyler
Faeries fly around.
The night alight with them. Their wings transparent. Their small bodies flit around. Those who see them, Swear they're magic. Only at night can you see them. Only then their light it bright. Little children smile and point and smile, They swear they shouldn't exist. Yet they take delight, In seeing them fly. These Faeries, These mythical creatures, We have something just like it. Ordinary as butterflies. Our creatures, They're just like Faeries. Some call them lightning bugs, Yet I just call them fireflies.
