Three PromisesA Poem by Rose TylerOn the spot; A wolf's poemWaiting for the bird to crow She howls at the moon Her aura aglow Her logic will she forego Running wild through the trees Hearing her name from within the dark Her pads skim the ground with ease The silence rings with her bark Blind with passion Scared with thought Her downfall will be their compassion And her need to never get caught Within the trees she sees The Angel, the Wolf, and the Lover Their sight brings her unease But one day who she needs, she will discover For now she shall suffer Until she knows who Until she is tougher Then her passions will subdue One promises passion One promises lust Those promises leave her ashen For now she has their trust The final pact The promise of life They leave her intact But if found out, there will be much strife
