Her Drug

Her Drug

A Poem by Rose Tyler
"

Not sure why I wrote this one.

"
If she had a choice of how she would die
Lithium would be her drug
Though to everyone she will deny
Her answer always a shrug

No mercy bestowed to her
No pity for the freak
Her life a painful blur
No sounds but strangled shrieks

Cheeks satined with 50 thousand tears
Bruises cover her soul
No one to soothe her fear
Thier words leave her no control

Lost in her own world
Stumbling, tripping, falling down
Her new wings unfurled
No one to keep her around

I love the rhyme scheme. The imagery is great as well, and the poem flows naturally. Great job!
