Daily battles fought with a shattered heart, Weary morning and a long, dreary night, demands of her silence from her small part, Loudly spoken words with courage despite.
Endless rainstorms flood her beautiful mind. Trapped her in a fate, unable to escape. Blackens the soul but her heart remains kind. She prays for her Angels, "Do not be late."
This curse may be strong but cannot conquer. Hopeful indeed, powerful with her gift, Armed with great faith, your heart shall grow fonder. Fellow friends of her own she will lift.
No chain or beating or binding chain link, could make her fail as though a ship; sink.
This poem has a strong message that almost everyone needs to keep in mind. For whatever reason, we've all experienced pain before. We've all cried, we've all worried, and we all know the pain of feeling alone. That's a part of life, and how we deal with such problems is what shapes our character. Hopefully, people will learn to have the strength of the character in this poem -- to endure through the worst times even when it seems like you should just give up. Thanks for sharing this piece. It will help a lot of people.
We all struggle with something dark in ourselves, but I like the few rays of hope you shine through with. Although we struggle we can still be kind and loving. Thanks for sharing.
