Cemetery Flowers

Cemetery Flowers

A Poem by Mahlo Metsys
"

"Even in death, there is desire."

"

Never in season, for the sky’s bleeding red

The waters wet grounds that will sprout the death’s head

Angels crave thirst for the longing to be

Forever in mourning without wings spread free

Silent are graves through the dawn and through dark

Fearless, lay corpses with souls to embark

A new place for haunting, and lust towards growth

Yet only decaying from a deceptive oath.

Sick piece. I actually have seen and smelled a real corpse flower. It's incredible. You can smell that thing from miles away, hahaha. I really like this poem. Oh your profile pic is killer!! Good job on this piece.
