Nothing

This was written before my poetry class. I randomly created this in my journal on vampirefreaks back when I was 17.

In the end 

You were my only friend

and I loved you

I thought you did too.

You meant the world

To me

And I thought 

I meant the same 

to you

But now I see.

I never meant a thing to you.

And you never

Cared enough to even look

me in the eyes.

You never saw

The hurt, the pain.

Nor did you ever see, the broken inside of me.

As I cried on the

outside.

Nothing is all I meant to you.

Nothing is all I ever will be.

Knowing I never meant 

a thing to you,

cuts deeper than

any knife could ever do.
