About Me

This was for my poetry class. We had to write a poem about yourself. This was the one that liked most amongst my classmates.

She is a work in progress

A painting half made

A silent spoken protest 

That slowly started to fade.

She is a young girl

Stuck as an adult

A modern day perfectionist

With many faults.

An imaginative yet

Depressed angel with 

Very many thoughts

A shattered hearted disaster torn apart

The pieces scattered on the floor.

Filled with hillarious comedy

Whose routine don't have 

To be center stage

With a laugh so contagious 

You'll be laughing for days.

A shy princess that stays silent

To afraid to speak

A friendly and loyal maiden

With a smile that masks 

All the pain inside.

Author's Note

The poem is writtten in a way of saying specific points about me, example if you read between the lines of the last part I am telling you I'm shy, and since I don't talk or open up when things hurt me, I put the mask on. That's how you have to look at the poem.
