THAT'S MY LIFEA Poem by Mahesh Chand SharmaPoem is about a person who takes the life easy initially and later on finds himself in the gloomy world. I passed my intermediate in a hurry As if there was no worry Getting good score was not my agenda Passing without hitch was my propaganda. Somehow I cracked my hard nut for it was my first flirt Then there were long queues And I was there without clues. Marks on the sheet were not a problem I didn' t care either, it was my own emblem Somehow I reached the counter At the window,I wasn' t treated as a punter. That hardly mattered for me I had been there just for fun Not to get glee, but to see my brunette I knew I was there to rejoice her bun. The days passed by The wings flew high Fate gave me a fatal cry Perhaps to bid me good-bye. The time changed in a jerk I found myself in a murk There was no one around I eventualy heard no sound. My past days of gay Had turned into a husk of hay I tried hard to get a job But there was no one to hit the knob. Started taking tuition Though it was not my intuition Found hard to make both ends meet Heat was big and I was for it. Tried my best to find a nest That's all at His behest I didn' t know what's store in His bag It was nothing but a gag. Enclosed, I was drowning in the sea No one around to give me the key Then, there was no choice After a while there was no noise!
