SANTA- YOU ARE A HEART BREAKERA Poem by Mahesh Chand SharmaThe poem is about the children's obsession regarding their friend SANTA CLAUSE who they take as their wish filler.Yesterday my daughter woke up and said, Father I saw a dream last night. I saw it was a christmas Eve, I was polishing my shoes but they were peeping out through many places dirt was adament,I was toiling hard to make them shine,it was in vain. I stopped polishing and waited for you, you had promissed to gift me a new pair of shoes this christmas. You came in the evening exhausted, I saw your face, it was pale yellow you dropped yourself on the couch; I came to you and touched your head, it was burning red. I could not dare to ask, for what you had promissed me. I deicided to give you a surprise, I would get my vish fulfilled; I had the most trusted crony, to whom I would express my agony. Guess who could be that,my soul mate, Yeah true,it's my Santa, a bumpy little fat. He was about to come, but then I woke up by the cries of my p***y cat! I consoled her not to lose heart, and assured,He would come to remove your shoe dirt. She got ecstatic, wrote her wish on paper; put under the pillow, kept waiting for You. She was sure, You would come to assure Sun rose high, she opened her eye. Looked around to see where was He, searched everywhere, here and there; didn't find her shoes, nor any clues, tears tickled down her eyes, You didn't listen her cries. Santa you behaved like a cracker, A real, real, yes, a real heart breaker!
