Click, Clap, BloomA Poem by ANNADon't think just read and let your mind ease you into my poetry b/c it's nothing like you have ever read from another. :)I want to wrap my rhymes around gravity Fight against the sweet persuasion of sex Paint in the wrong character Write blindfolded when my sight is clear Stains a man heart like red wine I want to challenge the depths of woman guilt Blow my struggles inside a cloud of dust Poison my tears inside a tissue Hustle for my father heart like a druggy The tension of this storm grows clingy, string me along Why must my addiction permit me from relapsing? I want to park my boyfriend drama on the side of the curb In a wordless lie, claim back my single status Smuggle my weakness across the boarders of Repair my nerves twitch when affection switches off Admire thunderstorms before the rain cries sideway Shut up those haters, bellyachers and wanna be body builders I need a love song to wake me up from this gallery Slow down the insulin spike running though my veins I wanna be unstoppable when the ground shakes I wanna be known to make you laugh like Jim Carrey Click, clap, bloom I’m the river dancer that taps your style Brain washes your window of context I lend with a forceful impact to hide my scabbed up knees Guilt me rather then ask how I got this far I don't care I want a reminder that sound like church bells So all those who creep don’t haunt me like a long lost friend © 2010 ANNAAuthor's Note
