Amnesia Of Life

Amnesia Of Life

A Poem by Alvin Williard Aspuria Aquino
"

Ants inside a box

"
Digging shallow, lies in barrow
grip of law holds neck to swallow
outward bright future of darkness
world is mindless, plain-sight blindness

A birth of dirt the worth is mirth
ants are blind works marching in lurks
dream is nightmare all emptiness
world is mindless, plain-sight blindness

Chasing reflections of shadow
the box of solid world foreshadows
dark of light and light of darkness
world is mindless, plain-sight blindness

Digging for just self lies inearth
Asleep in amnesia of life

A sonnet... a life of a box... I would say may be a matchbox... a forgetful life now... and the new purpose is a home for a thriving host of ants...
