A big jokeA Poem by Shane Michael
I look into the sky, The rain drops fall onto my face, Each and every drop remind me of the worlds failure, Like a disease we've destroyed it, Nobodys innocent, You all guilty.......... Murder, War, Rape, We have all hit the switch for self destruct, Wrong, All of it, And people sit back and wait for a savior, A savior? There is no savior, just false hopes, People putting there choices and problems in the hands of an imaginary friend, Priests and religous figure heads hear the voice of theres gods, If i walk out tomorrow and tell a socially sane person that i hear vocies, Id be locked up, Shunned, Crazy, No you are all crazy, How did Jesus die for my sins, I never had the chance too, Thats like a parent punishing a child for stealing cookies from the jar before the jar was even purchased, Its a Joke, All of it, Faith, Hope, We are all dammed to a never ending joke, And just when the jokes ending, You miss the punchline,
