What Caused ThisA Poem by MaggieManipulation
He prowls down the hallway, a hallway he's walked a thousand times.
He's walked down this hallway so many times with friends. Full of smiles. Full of life. But today something's different. He has another thing in mind. Today though his thoughts are full of death. He's come here prepared to cause damage to himself and all around him. As he walks in a classroom, he pulls an object from his jacket. An object that does not belong in a place of education. An object that causes only harm and no good. As he waves the object in front of the class, he screams words of nonsense and great danger. He yells of his life and all the things gone wrong. As he shrieks of all the wrong doings, people stare in shock and in awe. Shocked at the object in his hand and at the thought this is truly happening to them. Their perfect lives have been shattered by this moment of destruction. As they sit in the dead silence of the moment, the wonder why? Why is this happening to them? In their perfect world, in ther perfect town. How could this happen? What pushed this man to do this? What caused this tragedy? © 2010 MaggieManipulationAuthor's Note
