Christmas Love

Christmas Love

A Poem by Margaret Barton-Wahl
"

A love poem to and about my love for my husband.

"

                 Christmas Love

Many times we’ve made Christmas cheer

Remembering the things we hold so dear

Though often this time we may forget

We owe one another a lifetime debt

Bonds of love run so very strong

We’ve been together for oh so long

We’ve traveled on, children now grown,

In search of a place to call our own

Together are we yes, together alone

Now we can see together is our home

Being wiser now I can express

With gratitude, Love and happiness

I so deeply love and care for you

That just one word could never do

Love, loved, loving, LOVER

More than this and 10 times over

This day I love you more than ever

This day, tomorrow and forever

When in your arms my heart coos like a dove

Forever and always my Christmas love!
