I Sit at a Table

I Sit at a Table

A Poem by InsanityWriter

                                  I sit at a table,

but I'm not going to say--

or answer the questions--

that you ask now of me.

                             Buried in secrets,

      and shrouded in lies--

you're in front of me, scowling,

          and I'm handcuffed behind.

                          But no, I won't tell,

      I'll smile deviously--

for these crimes I'm accused of

            I plead insanity.

Thank you so much Jack!! I'm so happy you liked it! :D
Haha, I like the end a lot. For once a villain is given a positive ending in where they just might get away. The shortness works well with the rhythm so well done.
