Silent Hill

Based off of 'Silent Hill.'

The falling ash

Silent Hill
The siren sounds
And blood does spill.
Take refuge with one evil
Who shall try to burn you, or
Keep outside with another
Who will hunt, and find, and kill.
Blood weeps the walls,
Again the wailing calls.
Monsters, screams,
Hellish beings
Roam about this town.
To where is that small child
Running around?

Author's Note

I'm not too big on video games, so this is based on the movie. :) If any of you have ever never watched 'Silent Hill,' do it. The suspense is excellent, as are the special effects. ^_^

If you don't like horror though... Don't.

You definitly captured the movie in this piece. Every time a thick fog rolls through my friend alwasy referred to it as silent hill outside. So this brought out different memories as well. Very nice work here.

I am completely captivated throughout this entire poem. Very nice writing!

However, there is something about the last line. It's a very good line, but I don't think it seems to complete the poem. Maybe leave that line as it is, but then add another stanza with one powerful ending line. That will leave more of an impression on the reader. Just a suggestion!

"Silent Hill" been there, seen it and even got the blood stained T-shirt. The child running around there should learn to fly... in dreams...in reality.This poem sounds like the deep voice-over copy ... be afraid... be very afraid.

I liked it a lot, i've played the game and seen the movie and you've captured it all so well in this poem. It refreshed all my memories of the original story. Really nice word choice and you rhymed at perfect intervals causing it to flow beautifully. I loved it. great job my kind of poetry < 3
