whoa!!!! the personification is amazing!! it's been more interesting the way you have described everything about the life and death of the worldly creatures through the eyes of the tree which is just mind blowing!!
"I've been watered in rain
I've been watered in tears."...this line was so stunning and ravishing!! loved it!!

Thank you for your kind review. :) I'm so happy you liked it!! ^_^
The most interesting part for me was that you made the tree the talking character in this with a voice, silent but an observer of all that goes on in its life. Interesting viewpoint, and the imagery was pretty.

Thank you for reading. :) I'm glad you found it interesting!! ^_^
I have many large trees on my property, hundreds of years old, and with the drought we have been experiencing, I have lost a few. Nothing to me is sadder than hearing the crash of a dying tree falling down by the creek. Very nicely done my friend.

There was a time when I wondered what a tree would say.
And I think your poem captures what his thoughts would be.
There is a place in Arkansas - called The Place Of Peace - they call the trees their the standing ones. I ask the Energy of the North in ceremony to give me strength like her tall standing ones, to give me strength to stand for what I believe in. Now I will go to the big trees and put my hands on them and they will give there understandings to me - they have been standing so long.
This earth I have found
is a beautiful place
I pray for this world
to see dawn's renewed face
This is my favorite part of your poem - I have learned that the Earth is the most beautiful place in the universe. We are so fortunate to be here and at this most amazing time of all times. Each morning it is a renewed face of our dear Mother who has been waiting so long for us to come, to be here for her, she needs us to be here for her, she is going to recreate herself, she will be again what she was originally the sweet garden of all gardens with no blemishes. We need to send our love to her to help her to complete this process, it is not to late.

You can learn about this Place of Peace. google "The Moment Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a Native American site where a gathering called the moment happened last October, I wanted to go but I had a trip to Sedona,AZ planned on Nov 11, which was an amazing trip - a heart journey. Here is a link to a YouTube about The Moment, welcome to the new earth.

Several points: "I hase seen it all die." Fix the V...typo. And "I will not no more" I will not "ANY" more. Fix the double negative. As for content, I enjoyed this very much. I have a poem about a tree as well but it's not currently posted. I like that you try to put yourself in the tree's shoes/...roots as it were...personification is a wonderful tool to convey your thoughts. Sad that the tree must die in the end but hey, they live longer than most humans if they aren't cut down. The oldest living thing on the planet is a tree. I enjoyed.

i am so touched by your poem. i love trees so much and the way you see through its eyes, it's amazing. every line is so true for trees. trees die, they couldn't talk nor walk, they just stand there, growing taller and taller, yet they witnessed the most beautiful things in the world-- and also, the worst. but thanks for sharing this one. i really enjoyed reading this. :)

I'm very glad that you enjoyed it! Thank you for reviewing!
I love how you saw through a tree's eyes. I really really like how you wrote about this tree, you know, reminiscing the past. Now I hate woodcutters. Illegal loggers please go away and vanish. Poor trees are being hurt ya know.
