Autumn Life

It's burning, this fire,
Of the end of summertime.
The green is now dying,
But going out in glory.
Pale, dismal skies on high
Look down and mock our souls,
For we are lost on this winter road of life
And cannot find our home.

Again you flattered me by your nice work. The green is now dying, what a great line and it;s so true line here you used...and then you used "going in glory" wow, what a deep thinking, Now i have to believe that you've a mind... you're not empty mind.. lol *Kidding...lol
you;ve dropped here a reality, what's a truth in this life.. you dig that. Every season comes with some new things like winter comes with cold and summer comes with spring/hot/fall...And changes everyone's life as clouds converted to mists.. :)

This was strange to see the name "Insanity" and to read a poem that very easily let me sit in the back of my dad's truck as a kid again, watching all the colorful trees past the window as he drove down the winding roads of New England. I would love to see you write a Renga Haiku, even though most don't favor doing ANY kind of Haiku. xoxo -Mark
