That once upon a time.. I so loved you...

When the time is to let go.. Move on

You came when I was lonely

When life dealt that blowing hand

With words of comfort you stood

Even though you didn't understand

Yet to tell you was not my place

For fear has a way of stopping just that

Yet your presence still made the warmth seep

Deep inside where the amber's blew soft

Heating the very essence of my heart

And soul towards the transition of my journey

I bask deep within myself, my memory of such

Oh so wonderful thoughts we shared along the way

Summers breeze flowing over my form of tear-stains

Yet I can not give in to the pain, the hurt of such

To bring me down in my moments of last thought

All was good, this I say to you, my sweet one

Never think I lost faith in all that was

Now as time leaves a soft whisper upon my thoughts

I ask this one thing...

 

See me as the stars in the night sky

The breeze as it slowly moves on by

The moons glow, feel its beam down upon you

And drown in the very essence of my being

For it is then you shall then know

That once upon a time;

I so loved you...

It is like saying good by in the sweetest of ways. It was truly loving and truly healing to me, like remembering was welcomed and treasured. This is truly a beautiful write how it sounds in my mind I can imagine it being spoken with a sweet look afterward. Very good write.
