I am nothing...

Love is always hope in our hearts

Through dreams I have seen you
Your face gazing upon mine as I close my eyes
Your voice sounding out gently
Whispering softly to me in the deepest recess of my mind.

I have felt your touch
Like a breeze, passing me by
As I lie upon my covers
The breeze warm and tantalizing.

Ohh to savor the feeling
To hold close and grasp with all my might
I do.. Inside myself
Where none could ever take away.

To hold your thoughts as they invade mine
Your voice to hear, over and over
To cherish all would be a gift in itself
Once barren, I am free, with you beside me.

I gaze upon the moon's glow and wonder
Where are you?
Are you gazing upon the same moon at this moment?
Do you feel the same warm breeze pass you by?

My love... I close my eyes
The tears softly falling
Upon cheeks cold, yet warm with thought
Of only you.. Your love.

'Take me in your arms', I whisper
Sending forth the words across the ocean to where you are
To the one who makes my heart beat faster
My pulse race quicker.

To you my love..
Only you..

For without...

I am nothing...

supurb simply stated this is a wonder of a poem once again I have felt your words as they entered my mind and worked their way into my heart you do that you know, you have a magic way about you that just melts your words making them pour into the reader's heart and stay for an eternity

Mags, you put the passion in poetry, that's for sure! I love the feel of this piece, at first we feel a bond that is never to be broken, and then you take us away to separation, but hearts that beat in tune never sound different, even at an oceans length apart. You had me swimming!
