Give me Paris Darling

Give me Paris Darling

A Poem by Magdelena
"

Paris.. The city of lights and romance.

"

Give me Paris Darling
The city of lights so sparkling and bright
The sweetest sensation of 'Grosses bises'
The passion of lovers delight.

Give me treasured memories Darling
Of nights filled with deep rooted romance
Of tender butterfly kisses
As we float under the moon's brilliant glow and dance.

Give me Honey dew scents Darling
 Of your skin, so soft to the touch
Make me whisper gently under my breath
As the heat in my heart begins to rush.

Give me hope and promises Darling
Of starlit nights under the luminous moons surrender
Ahh, hear the symphony?
Close your eyes and listen to the softness gliding across.

Such a sound..
Yes, one I shall always remember.

Give me everlasting rapture Darling
As you slowly caress my heated skin
Under the city of lights of beautiful Paris
 In your loving arms you shall always win.

Yes....

Give me Paris Darling
The city of lights so sparkling and bright
The sweetest sensation of 'Grosses bises'
The passion of lovers delight.

  ~~~~
Ahhhhh, yes..
Sweet, sweet Paris Darling
Let us dance
Romance
And let us always remember this night.
Great idea, great execution...mmmmm, I love me some romance and I think I would love me some paris to. loved the repetition in the first line of every stanza and I totally picture the voice of the narrator as smoky and sultry...loved this.
Once I saw the title of this one, I had to read and review it! I think, and I assume I'm right, that you've made an allusion to Casablanca if only for the line, "we'll always have Paris." Such a great idea to long for "Paris," in a heartfelt poem about wanting at least memories of love. I love it!
I loved this when I reviewed it before. It is so romantic...Paris does have that something...I remember taking the boat ride on the Seine at night...so magical...A pleasure to read again...I love it...
Your poem is just ideal - un poeme parfait!
There's something about Paris for sure .. it's not the crowds, it's not the traffic, but there's something magic in that city - maybe it's how the very word makes people feel!
Give me Paris too , please and all the love and romance you have written of the City of Light.
I enjoyed this lovers plea.. passionate and warm.. Dancing beneath the stars in the City of Light.. what could be better? Beautiful images also makes me long to be there.
Always have wanted to see Paris.
