I love you

In my heart of all hearts, I say unto you

I love you.

 

Such simple words are they
Yet with more meaning than any other I shall ever say.

Thrilling, you once made me feel

Sunsets of meaning passed before my eyes

Moonlit nights, shown their rays upon my form

Then.. darkness..

 

So deep that blinded I became

Thrashing about, vines grasped within my thoughts

Holding tightfisted to all I posses

Releasing not a drop of sanity

Not an ounce for moment of rest.

 

My wondrous soul has for-passed all within
Now I am an open sore with no bandage;
to stop the flow of blood from seeping out.

I yearn for meaning to my pain
To answers only you can give
Like twine they hold bondage

My memories of you and I

To only set fire to all till they wither and die.

 

 

For my heart I gave, sent forth with trust

Yet you tossed aside

With not even a thought.

 

And I die.. Each second, each moment

For only emptiness stands instead

The vines that hold

Now gripping like steel.

To say I can go on

 

Oh such a lie
Falsity in itself for only my pride

To wander beneath myself
All unholy that is waiting for my mistakes.

 

Yet none I can make,  for they left along with my heart.

 

 

Nightfall has come upon me

I sit and stare

Yet you are not there.

 

Only the darkness reaches for me

To take hold once again

Of all I dream, of memories once shared.

 

Yet before it claims, I send forth my whisper

To hell with pride

For let me be the sinner. 

 

My darling...

 

I love you...

This was like pure silk woven for the emotions. You took what I cannot say, can never expressed, and wrote it into some fine exquisite poetry. It made my whole heart tingle and well spot on to what I'm feeling now and probably be will feeling for the one and only love of my life.

If you can't get over an unreturned love, you can at least cope with it. Ask yourself, "Why would I want to be with anyone who doesn't love me back?" You deserve better.
