The sound of silence

Words of silence can be felt as well as heard if even through the heart and soul.

He whispers to me, voice soft, gentle, like a soothing breeze

It takes me along, traveling to places unknown, vastness surreal

And I sigh...

For though no sound he makes, just a whispering of leaves falling

It is the sound of silence I hear, gently I hear its calling.

 

Whisper to me my love..

Take me to dreams of splendor

Wrapped in arms of peaceful moments

I am yours, for I gladly surrender.

 

We stare into each others eyes

Chambers open, steel bars finally gone

And music floats through softly

Closing my eyes, I sway gently

For its only I, that can hear your song..

 

Oh how sweet the sound

Touching my inner soul

Nothing can ever compare

For with you I'm only whole.

 

Sway with me my love..

Together let us dance..

Kiss me my love..

Lets give our love a fighting chance.

 

Darkness once again comes

And I lay nestled safely in your arms

For there I can dream of lovers sweet treasures

Tucked inside your manly charms.

 

I can see the stars beaming down upon our forms

Gently bathing us in summers dusk

Sprinkling stardust in thoughts

Of lovers retreat, words spoken with trust.

 

And on a soft summers breeze

I can remember

Feel your gentle charms

Touching the deepest recess of my thoughts

 

Oh how desire can breath its sweet breath

Into lips of longing

Hearts of beating tempos

They join so perfectly

Brilliantly.

 

Ssssh...

Ahh, yes....

Such a romantic poem. Makes me think of spring. The music is very fitting with this poem too. Love it!

This comes across as usual the way in which you intended, soft, subtle yet not so subtle that the reader cannot picture in his/her mind what is going on in this poem. But neither is it blairing like a Gouya painting. No what is pictured here is gentle, a fantasy. Reminds me of a high born gentle woman dreaming of her troubadour lover. You have as always added just the right amount of tenderness to your love poem here, This is You! me Gumba!
However I say again--- LOSE THE MUSIC! it is to say the least a great distraction
