The wind, soft as a feather, moves Eyes closed, I inhale The richness as it passes My cheeks feel its soft caress Like a lovers kiss, gently it touches And I smile.
Raindrops start to fall slowly Face upturned, I let the drops touch me The smell intoxicating to my senses It overtakes all of me, I indulge in its richness The feeling exquisite, divine, and I grasp it close Letting it overtake all of me deep within And I gently sigh.
Oh the feeling of freedom The purity of the breeze softly passing by The feel of the rain as it touches my body The wetness soaking me, lapping at my form Like the arms of a lover that touches oh so gently Eyes closed, Senses bare, I fall into its passion.
And gently float away...
Memories,
Of once upon a time
Passes my view
I inhale all its richness
For all still lies deeply within me.
Eyes closed, I feel the rain pour down on me
Oh the sweet joy.
The richness of splendor that comes forth
I bask in it
Holding my arms out
Towards all it offers.
For you are there my love.
Always..
Inside those sweet, sweet, raindrops.
Each one marking the memories from within
Bringing them forward yet once again
Yes...
For you are there my love...
Always..
Forever to hold deep inside Within my heart, I savor each precious moment Till it is time that I say goodbye.
Your touch of sweet to always linger. Your scent deep within Always still felt Funny how time fades certain memories.
Yet with you, they seem to linger forever Like the raindrops sweetly falling The mist of pure that slowly trickles down my skin And to this I say Let them fall..
A beautiful poem. I like the description of the closed doors opening up. A excellent poem of love and hope. A very good ending to a outstanding poem of love.

Love should be as fluid as rain and it is just as romantic isn't it? This is a nice way of looking at love and like rain ends so does love at times. Still your poem had soft hints of sensual undertones that were stimulating during the read.
Marvellously evocative. This love is perfect in its abstraction. The raindrops cld signify sadness, but equally they make you feel also and maybe it is better to feel, even sadness than not to feel. But the poem is not sad in any way.
very nice poem...each stanza has its creativeness...and you blend them each very well...with love like this how could one possibly lose...and yet it is ...sadly...a reality of life...oh to turn back those hands of time...
If only! This is rather good, and I enjoyed reading it throughout! Although the main theme is not particularly original, the writer has expressed it very effectively! The wording is apt, and forms a tapestry for the reader's discernment. Overall, it seemed to have a more positive or uplifting tone, than the previous piece of Magdelena's (which I also reviewed). Indeed, romance can influence our lives in various ways, sometimes with sadness, but love is always there to be found - if we look hard enough...
Hello to all;
Been awhile since I been on. Most know me, some don't. Hopefully I can get to know the few that don't and catch up with all the other fine fellow poets/friends that have become so.. more..
