And one single tear fell

When one finds love, no matter what, it is the greatest feeling one will ever know

 

Last night I dreamt of you
I was laying in your arms
The words "I feel so safe"
Kept going through my thoughts
As I looked down at you
Your eyes staring into mine.

You were smiling,
So brightly.

And I felt myself gasp softly as I stared at you
Your smile just beaming
Like the brightest stars in the darkest of nights
I saw all there,
Inside your eyes.

The love you held for me
The gentleness of your very being
The passion of your very soul
And it was then I felt my heart slowly skip a beat
And I softly let my breath out
And one single tear fell
Slowly
Traveling down my cheek till finally,
It rested on your arm.

And I whispered...
