My lover of the sea...

My lover of the sea...

A Poem by Magdelena
"

Beneath the vast misty ocean lies love deep

"

Sweet sounds move over me
Their soft breeze slowly passing me by
The darkness of the night softly coming
With all before me.. I send my sigh.

For how much I have loved
Oh, one could never do count
For moments become years
With them tears fall in great amount.

I search the wide ocean
My eyes vacant for I know what is not there
My love.... My one and only
My heart... Oh Lord it is so bare.

Each night I come to this very spot
Each day which now has slowly passed into years
Yet can I stop?
Soft laughter, simple.. Then what of the tears.

For no love have I ever known
Felt so deep within, that it tore through me
My heart.. Oh what sweetness I held
Passion of wonder joyfully taking to see.

His heart.. Soul... All he sent forth
My lover of the sea
The vastness, emptiness
Which was for only he.

Five years had passed, yet not my love
For still I come and wait
The smell of Oceans breeze filling me
The touch of the water keeps me sedate.

Eyes vacant, I stare off into the horizon
Tears softly falling unchecked
My tongue reaches forth
The salty taste mingling with my tears of wet.

Upon my cheeks, face, lips so needful
Oh my love, I whisper
I so miss you...

My Love.. My one and only..

My heart..

My lover of the sea...

Oh what a beautiful poem the longing for a "lost lover" here is palatable I can taste the tears and sea spray along with the persona. Twinie I just have to repeat myself here with maybe a bit more emphsis---- You are one hell of a Poetess and I am humbled by the beauty of you pieces be they for a long lost love or humorious or whatever Kudos my twin from my heart kudos!

There is something so romantic, in a haunting sort of way of thoughts of a lover standing by the shore of the ocean while searching for lost memory of a love now gone, yet remaining vigilent and hopeful that someday he shall return! Your words seem to draw him closer in heart as we feel her pain, understand her lamentations! As the ocean waves lick the shore, she licks tears from her brow!
Well done!
