For forever shall you last

In spirit love sometimes still resides..

 

I come from thee with not a whisper

Not a sound do I bring forth

Yet in memory you stay

In soul you shall rest

For no other place

Can you stay to last.

For the heart is so bare

And with such woe tonight

Many images pass through

Yet some without sight

Gently thoughts whisper

Can you feel their soft touch?

Their moments of glory,

Their tears of pain?

For in the end we have suffered

The hands of cruel fate

The ticking of father time

His stroke so hard

Passing ever so quickly

It seems with no heart.

So hear me, I cry

My words unto thee,

For forever shall you last

Till the end of eternity.

What a wonderful tribute to a supreme love.. for eternity! I did not find this haunting at all... I felt the time ticking.. but with such force and flow .. so shall it be. If you believe in eternity or forever.. to pen such emotion onto paper is ETERNITY.. for at some point someone will come across such a love-filled writing.. and find that profound meaning. Love is forever.. and when we leave in body.. our spririts raise and embrace all that love us in the heavens above... for there is no jealousy nor greed nor possessiveness at that fine place!

This was very well-penned..creatively done.. as a memory but put to rest in the soul.. embraced deeply within.. at times that woe comes out but that is part of loving whether together or not.. THAT is real love.. and it knows no boundaries nor physical realm in my eyes. I loved everything you have written in this piece.. very touching!
