Tears of ruby red...

Tears of ruby red...

A Poem by Magdelena
"

Sometimes in darkness the light is brighter..

"

I walk among all
Into the darkness of night
Yet within I move
 Within I see the light.

I am voiceless
Thoughts move to and fro
Eyes of blood red
Yet with lies one throws.

Speak, thoughts whisper
Loud in my brain
Tears run down my cheeks
For alone with my pain.

Distant I stand
Far away I remain
For blood on my fingertips
Forever they stain.

Sins I have passed
Deeds I have done
Chastise I have known
Now voiceless I have gone.

Tears of blood
Stains ruby red
Lying upon my pillow
The loneliness of my bed.

Yes....
Tears of ruby red...

Stain...
For inside I'm dead...

I am sure you capture the way millions of people are here, with their inner selves disconnected from the walking around selves. Maybe one of the greatest cunnundrums, is which is the real us? I wld trust a poet to give me a better answer any day than all the shrinks in New York. Maybe artistic expressions, such as your poem, of the stresses in us give a far more understandable picture of what it is to be human. I suspect that these feelings are actually perfectly normal, reflecting our peculiar nature which is an alloy of the physical reality and active intelligence.

This is brings much to the table in my mind, the duality i know i have....i disconnect from what hurts, i cry for that part but keep it forever in the dark...showing only the light side of myself....
you have put into words perfectly how my inner mind feels at times...

great job!!!
