Rain down on me..

To feel the heavens fresh scent of rain is one of the most wonderful experiences..

 

The smell of sweet freshness
Of a scent so fine
Descends into the farthest recess
Of the thoughts of my mind.

I inhale...

Oh the sweet nectar
The power of the pitter patter
That runs across my window seal
I touch, the wetness that scatter.

Feelings so divine erupt within me
My soul opens
My heart grows wide
My memories scatter backwards.

To once upon a time.

Of younger days
Of splashing in the puddles of youth
Of laughter erupting
For gaiety was there once too.

I used to dance in the softness of the rain
Letting the drops fall down on me
Rain down on me
For no feeling as such so free.

As the coolness of the water
Letting it rain down on me..


Yes...

Letting it rain down on me...

Maggie; My sister and I used to dance in the summer rain just about every time it came down , the wonderful warm feeling of the raindrops wetting our faces, hair and bare feet was a gret feeling and we enjoyed it emensely I thank you for bringing back so sweet a memory.
ps the rain lost it's magic when I had to slough through it while at work on countless occations. But I still remember the fun times too.
