Sparkling tears

Sparkling tears

A Poem by Magdelena

She cries for things that have passed from days gone by
She hopes for a better tomorrow, yet she wonders why
She dreams of the yesterdays, though she feels such pain
Unable to help herself, for there her memories still remain.

For once she was strong
Her faith carrying her along
Then mayhem came forth
Destroying her whole world.

Time the enemy, years that have past
Dreams from long ago, have left her at last
Now faded pictures, on an old ripped page
Of memories stood her whole life, in all their stage.

To close her eyes, she saw all pass her by
Then slowly her tears fall, alone to cry
How long it seemed, how much time has gone
Now all she had left, was memories and an old love song.

So now stood sparkling tears
For all those years

And silently they forever fall...

very captivating and the picture bring the poem to life, and the tears that we have from pain never cease, they just silently fall inside.
