I've lost my soul

I've lost my soul

A Poem by Magdelena

Oh, mon chéri Je t'aime tellement!

Oh my darling I love you so!
I cry deep into each night

For my heart is with you
My soul, yours
Though God knows
I have tried to fight.

These tender moments
Moments that I alone must bear
When all is quiet
My tears are beyond repair.

Hush... Dormir...

I whisper to the moon
Dormir.. Sleep..

Yet I can not
For in sleep comes dreams
Of you my love
Of what we used to be.

And I weep..

For what was
What is now gone
A love so gentle
Like the softest of love song.

Heart broken, I stare up at the moon
It speaks to me
The words gently moving towards me
Oh how dark the night stays.

As my tears fall slowly down
The brightness beams down on me
The words come forth
Ah yes...

J'ai perdu mon âme

Yes...

I've lost my soul...

and this makes that point very well my dove, heart rending is too mild of a word for the feeling of sorrow and pain in this write well done pathos you have brought forth
