But so then will also be her pride.

But so then will also be her pride.

A Poem by Magdelena
"

Dedicated to a good friend who holds a piece of my heart.

"
She feels like none other
No love has she ever known
Yet deep within she has traveled
On the road with that same old song.

Of heartbreak one hears of
of pain one feels
Of memory one dreams on
Of longing she still revels.

His face still in her thoughts
His words of love still in her heart
Her longing still fresh inside
It seems to never grow apart.

With eyes of sadness she stands
And keeps remembering those long ago days
Of once upon a time
When her love was still her rage.

Tears she sheds at all she went through'
For no woman must endure such pain
Yet to forget this love she once held
Is a thing she can not ever face.

So instead her memories will always stay hidden
Her love shall always stay inside
Her hurts shall always be with her
But so then will also be her pride.

Oh my what a sad tale a love that is lost through the fault of no one a serect love? perhaps if not a first love than one suffered through at a tender age. This is my take. I feel the remorse for I have lived through the same. Melincholy yes but a heart tugging poem.
