In the dusk of night we stand

Our feelings strong

Surviving the test of time

For with love we band.

 

With love we cast away doubt

Troubles that plague us

Tongues that rage against us

Heartache that knocks with a shout.

 

Yet we ignore all

For we only have eyes for each other

No man shall come between us

For with love stood forth our call.

 

To be near, holding, sharing

All our dreams

Hopes, the future

And all else baring.

 

Its ugly head at love such as ours

Jealousy rears its head at what we share

Yet we hold tight

Our whispered wishes upon the stars.

 

So dark in the night

Velvet, like satin delight

Shining down on us

Oh what a wonder, the sight.

With love we seal our future

With love we kiss away the past

With love we forge towards the tomorrows
