'I am your lady'A Poem by MagdelenaOh the sweetness of love, through the darkness sometimes it lays hidden.Late at night I sit The warmth of the breeze softly ruffling my cheek My hair, my thoughts Of null, grasping and holding deep. Inside myself I stay, as I often do Where no pain or hurt can break through The sky, so dark, shines down on me Sending its beauty, yet blind eyes look up above. Yet there is a star so high, Breaking through Beaming its soft rays Blinking, calling out And I know it's you, my love High above, watching, your hand held out Distant yet near. Imagination comes forth Oh so quickly. Eyes closed, I softly sigh. For to go to place of surreal beauty all I have to do is dream. Dream of wonder. Of peace. Tranquility. And oh so divine love.. For you see.. Deep within there 'I am your lady' Your dream come true. And you, my love, 'You are my Man'. So it is within the sweetest of dreams A place where my heart can soar to heights above Towards the stars so bright that it pains the eyes Yet oh so gently warms the darkest of hearts. And I glide.. Gently along its path To where only you can take me Where the sunshine breaks through Even darkness fades slowly away. In your arms I feel warmth, love. In your eyes I see heaven, purity. Fear has no place, doubt, no home For all fades away with the gentlest of sighs. Whispers spring out silently For only my ears to hear And I cherish. Softly spoken, they are And I grasp them, hold them dear. Within a heart that once felt pain Broken beyond repair Till now, my love. For there is no more darkness Fear.. Oh how powerful love can be.. Sweet, like honey, dripping, that I take oh so greedily And hold oh so closely. Do you hear it? The music sounding forth? Ahhh yes... I smile... For you see... 'I am your lady' And... 'You are my Man'. Reach for me, my love Bring forth what you can... © 2013 MagdelenaReviews
