You were so brave and so strong

I am so proud of you

Your strength was rock  solid

Like a diamond you were tough

But  the time had come when you could no longer fight

And you kissed us goodbye

And turned out the light

Your beauty and grace

The glow upon your face

That beautiful smile

Never to complain

Never once giving in

Or succumbing to the pain
