Stuck

Do you ever feel stuck, but you just don't want to leave?

A single note,

With words he wrote,

Caught in my throat,

It makes me float.

I close my eyes,

Can't see your lies,

Through all the highs,

And the goodbyes.

I'm so worn out,

And filled with doubt,

I need to shout,

Can't take this route.

I'm stuck like glue,

Mixed up like stew,

Need something new,

It's Deja Vu.

I'm going to end it there. I feel like its finished, but not complete, which kind of leaves the reader waiting.

The structure does justice to the theme. The progression is stuck with the same pattern every stanza (4 continuous rhymes), all of which don't clarify anything in the end, thus gives the impression of being stuck.....and then we get to the end and we're back where we've started ("déja vu"). Interesting concept. Well done! (I would only suggest a tweak in Line 4: "it makes me float"...that way the musicality is not compromised).
