Painting Flowers

Painting Flowers

A Poem by Roe
"

This is from my other old account, but I changed it.

"
Tattered dress,
That once was white as snow.
Now stained with droplets of blood.

Fingers scarred by overlooked thorns.
Long blond matted hair cascades down.
Covering a once beautiful face.

Delicate white roses cover the bushes.
Ah, such a beautiful flower

Waiting to be ruined by a unsteady hand.
Rubbing the smooth skin between her fingers.
She starts to paint.

Clouds of sorrow fill the sky.
All to soon it starts to rain.
Streams of crimson flow through the garden.
The roses once again become white……

Amazing use of thoughts.

You create visions and place for the reader. I like the transportation of the flower. Thank you Roe for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome.
I felt this poem more than I understood it. I enjoyed reading it. Nice work.
