Why ?

Why ?

A Poem by Madi(:

Why do you do this .

You tell me strange things

hurt my feelings

does it help you when others hurt ?

Does it make the boogeyman go away .

You use to be there whenever i called

but then somethings changed like the click off a switch

you made mean remarks

your arms with red slashes

where did my friend go

my innocent friend

the boy who made me smile ? where is he

is he traped within the walls ?

with heartbreak and despire ?

You know this is true , so why do it ? </3

i can feel that you are hurt an angry at the person whom has committed these actions. You expressed that well through this writing. You had a few spelling and grammatical errors here and there, I also noticed some missing punctuation (those three things are some of my pet peeves).

The emotions in this poem are well delivered. 'Showing' had always been better than 'telling'. As my favourite saying says "Words are in their greatest when written from the heart". Though it's a really sad poem, I liked it. Keep on writing!
