The QuestA Poem by MadhusudhaA seeker seeing her own self, lost in the day to day living
I set out, determined to find
My lost soul, so long left behind Only wish my search had begun sooner Well, they say, better late than never When did I lose her? I wonder, Where could she be? I ponder. How could I have let this happen? {Did she escape being trapped in?} or Did she disappear when I was sleeping? Should have guarded her with my life, Now, the loss, it cuts through, a sharp knife, Caught up in the mindless chatter, I failed to notice her loss and laughter. No longer can I bear to part with her My quest unceasing, until I meet her. My dear soul, where do you wander, Search I will, then surrender. And once I bring you back, will I Learn to come alive, to fly. For with you within me,to tend, There would be no need to pretend, You are the Truth, I strive In You, I come wholly alive.
