Hope she would understand

A poem about a girl I love. Although we aren’t together, I hope she would understand.

I hope she understands that,
it’s not her smile, not her charm, or not even her Sun red dress for that matter,
It’s just her, being herself, that makes me lit up

You know it’s love,
When you book an extra seat for her in your bus,
Knowing she may not come sit and read your poems ?
But you still sit there with the consolation
that she made you write

I know she may not stay when the sun comes back,
But I hope she knows that,
She makes my rainy clouds a lighter grey

In English, One would say,
I Hope she understands me.

But In Poetry, I would say,
I wish she put on my shoes, and live my life for a day,
If only then, would she understand how special she is,
she would fall for herself, over and over again
