Ignited Revolutionary

Ignited Revolutionary

A Poem by Maddi

As she flies through the skies,

Her wings are flames, her heart is tight,

With raw, burning passion

The strong wing beats,

Fan a spark,

Into an inferno.

She launches away from the ground,

A shock wave launching up behind her.

A blast of sound.

A blast of heat,

A blast of energy.

She circles the city,

The country, the world.

Her wings aflame,

Hellfire rains down,

Upon this scarred ground.

The wounds of the mind,

Are what make us strong inside.

Her wings are her power,

She takes our freedom wihin her stride.

Her will is our strength.

To be strong is fate.

A hero must stand up,

There's no such thing of too late.

And she will ignite,

Eyes ablaze,

Souls united.

And we will follow her:

Our deity.

Our bringer of change.

Our revolutionary.

Very inspiring. It just goes to show, everyone's afraid of being different, but if only one person starts something, suddenly everyone will speak up as well. All the fiery imagery was perfectly on point and the pacing was brilliant. You've got something to be proud of right here!
