DogsA Story by MGKnoxA short tale of the importance of the existence of our dear doggy friends!
The dogs are so incredibly drawn to the outdoors.
They are creatures longing for stimulation. Their eyes point in a direction that they long to follow. Passion and instinct rule, but there is within a central irony in dog. They are blowing past at speed, but they are loyal. The dog will wait for a command or a movement, before they make their pasisonate plea. Their ability to choose stems from our ability to command. Yet, they are free and happy. They fly in a goofy manner through grass, smelling & spinning & eating what they shouldn't. But they look up to the sky, and enjoy nature for what it may be - a beautiful concoction of life, wind, and God. Dogs have no regrets; no anguish, at least that's permanent. They remain innocent & energetic long after we write cynically & criticize ourselves in relation to them. We can sit for ages without central happiness, when all we have to do is look to the dog for why. © 2016 MGKnoxAuthor's Note
