You are the song stuck in my head

the one I hum to myself in public, 

carefree of who can hear it

the one that brings me joy

when I can only feel sorrow

the one I sing at the top

of my lungs in the shower

Like a birthmark, or a pleasant scar on your brain from a great time... something you never stop 'seeing' (singing).

Nicely articulated. Be careful though, that road goes both ways (bad things tend to stick around as well).
